J.A. Happ is an American baseball player who played as pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. He has an estimated net worth of $6 million.

J.A. Happ became active participating in sports when he became four-year letterman winner in basketball and baseball while he's studying at St. Bede Academy. He was hailed as Bureau County Athlete of the Year.

While studying at Northwestern University, Happ joined the Big Team baseball team. He named as All-Big Ten First Team for three seasons. Then, he decided to forego his senior season, and selected by the Philadelphia Phillies during the third round, 92nd overall at 2004 Major League Baseball Draft.

Happ was assigned to play for Batavia Muckdogs in New York-Penn League. Then, in 2006, he played for the High-A Florida State League's Clearwater Threshers, and got promoted to Double-A Reading Phillies.

He debuted to play for the Philiies in 2007. Happ was named Sporting News NL Rookie of the Year, in 2009. A year later, he moved to Houston Astros, then was traded to Toronto Blue Jays after his two years stint with the Astros. On March 26, 2014, he was included in the disabled list.
