Marwan Kenzari is an actor from the Netherlands. He is famous for his performances in Dutch and English language movies.
Kenzari is well known for the 2019 Movie, Aladdin as Jafar. Some of the films and movies he has featured on are The Mummy, The Promise, Bur-Hur, Murder on the Orient Express and Collide. In 2013, he was the winner of a Golden Calf in the category of Best Actor. He appeared completely naked in the 2015 film Bloedlink.
Marwan is fluent in Arabic, Dutch, French, and English. He appeared in the English-language films Collide and Ben-Hur. He is set to play the villain Jafar in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin.

Marwan started acting while still a teenager. This was after a girl he was dating signed them up for auditions to the Dutch version of the musical Chicago. Since 2008, he has acted in various films and TV series in his native Netherlands. He won a Golden Calf for Best Actor at the 2013 Netherlands Film Festival. The award was for his spectacular performances in the 2013 Dutch action drama martial arts feature film, Wolf. The film was screened at the 2013 VOLOGDA Film Festival, this was after it was translated into Russian by Russian film translator Andrey Efremov. He was the recipient of a Shooting Stars Award at the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival.
Marwan was born on the 16th of January in 1983 in The Hague, Netherlands. He was born to a Tunisian family.

Aladdin is an American musical fantasy film. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie. It will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is a live-action adaptation of the 1992 animated film of the same name film by Disney. The film is based on the Arabic folktale of the same name from One Thousand and One Nights. Marwan is featured alongside Will Smith. Naomi Scott, Mena Massoud, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen in addition star in the film.
In October of 2016, Disney announced Guy Ritchie as the director of the live-action Aladdin remake. The film is set to be theatrically released in the United States on the 24th of May in 2019.

Kenzari is featured in a fantasy and thriller film, The Mummy. The film stars Tom Cruise alongside Kenzari, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Shanina Shaik among others. The story is about a soldier of fortune who loots ancient sites for timeless artefacts and sell the artifacts to the highest bidder. The soldier and his partner are attacked in the Middle East and accidentally meet a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert.
